Lee is an absolute pleasure to work with. She takes great care in understanding a brief and respecting a brand's identity, whilst bringing her own creative flare and impeccable taste to each project. Her work is fast and refined, and she has demonstrated an agility of style in the numerous projects we have worked on together. She is not only a great designer, but also an incredibly helpful problem solver with a wonderful, warm personality to match. I could not recommend her more highly!

Working with Lee to overhaul my website was a real pleasure. I had a fairly clear idea what I didn't want, but was struggling to visualise the right style of website for my freelance company. Lee is very intuitive and after a couple of initial sessions she quickly identified the type of content I needed and had great suggestions for the layout and the overall aesthetic. I really appreciated Lee's patience and flexibility as we worked through all the elements of the new site. She understood how important it was for me to be able to maintain the site myself, and the tutorial videos she provided have been invaluable when I want or need to update content. Lee was also able to offer me really constructive feedback as I created the content for the site, and that meant I felt confident when we finally pushed the button!

Lee was recommended to me by architects Seth Stein and designed a report on 'Warhol and the Contemporary Art Market' for delivery to an international Investment Group. Lee was flexible, efficient and a pleasure to work with. She immediately understood the need to make a large amount of potentially dry material look both engaging and convincing but not ‘over-designed’. Lee brought visual clarity and impact to a complicated document. Her skill was a key component in cementing credibility with an important new client. Lee’s work reminded me again of the value of good graphic design and I would recommend it without hesitation.

The Cucumber team was absolutely delighted with Lee’s work and her method. She communicated really well with us, quickly getting her head round our brand and context, listening to our feedback throughout the design process, and producing a result we were really happy with. I noticed a change in the way our team members perceived the product once we’d been through the visual branding exercise - they took much more pride in it.

Working with Lee has been an incredible experience. Mike’s Table is a non-profit organisation and we need to communicate to diverse sets of customers – foodie-loving paying guests and charities who refer non-paying guests to us. Lee has helped me find the right tone to deliver our message to both. Not easy. But she asked all the right, thought-provoking questions, that not only helped her to create our extremely effective visual identity, but helped me clarify and refine our core business ideals. The Mike’s Table website has been an invaluable tool. Everyone loves it and I am extremely proud of it! The visual identity is beautiful, robust and flexible. It works so well on other media – especially our new aprons. Lee’s enthusiasm and passion for the project is extraordinary. Her creativity, tenacity and gentleness make her a wonderful person to work with.

I was working as a researcher on a very sensitive project about baby loss and post-mortem when I was introduced to Lee via a recommendation. My colleagues and I were collaborating with an artist to curate a public exhibition that explored the themes emerging from our research. As the work was so sensitive we were very aware of the need to ensure that the visual identity of the exhibition was thoughtful and respectful, but that it was also engaging - we wanted people to come and see the work! Our aim was to reach-out to different audiences - parents, professionals, fellow researchers and the general public. It felt like a tall order and we were nervous about how we might achieve all this. And then we met Lee... and after our first chat I felt completely reassured that she understood the importance of creating a visual story that placed sensitivity at the heart of the exhibition. Lee worked very hard for us, often working flexibly, to tight deadlines and an evolving brief. She became an integral part of the exhibition team - both in terms of her technical skills, but also as a fabulous sounding-board for our thoughts along the way. I am personally thankful to Lee for the kind support (and oodles of time!) she gave to me when I needed to talk through how ideas might work. The designs Lee produced for us (exhibition graphics, booklet and website) were beautiful and of a very high quality. We received so many positive comments about the work that made us feel very proud. In sum, Lee is an absolute dream to work with! Her attention to detail, sensitivity, sincerity and commitment are second to none. I will be highly recommending her to any colleagues who are thinking about how to share their research with different audiences beyond academia.

We worked in collaboration with Lee on our project at the Novo Cemetery, situated within the campus of Queen Mary, University of London in Mile End. Our brief was to integrate the site into the fabric of the University so as to improve the circulation of pedestrian traffic. At the same time, we needed a scheme that would raise awareness of the Cemetery as a cultural asset within the campus. Lee’s work in tying together both the interpretive panels and various graphic elements embedded within the architectural fabric of the scheme, meant that the site as a whole successfully revealed its story to a constantly changing audience in subtle and effective ways. As testament to the work that Lee was a key part of, in 2014 English Heritage granted Grade II listed status to the site, including the new perimeter works, thereby protecting it for generations to come. The process of working with Lee was professional, inspiring and enjoyable from beginning to end, and we would happily recommend her on that basis, as well as looking forward ourselves to working with her again.
