Roald Dahl Museum - Story-telling Room

Like many of us, I grew-up getting to know the characters in Roald Dahl’s stories. (And When I was 11, I played the part of Verruca Salt in our school production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!)

Anyway, in 2022, I had the huge privilege of being part of the team commissioned to transform the storytelling room at the Roald Dahl Museum, into ‘The Wondrous Woods’. My role was to dream up the styling concept, and to then create the artwork in order to help bring the whole idea to life.

Heritage consultant, Laura Samuels, and I, worked closely with Rachel White (Collections manager & archivist) & Emma Bedlow (Museum Management Co-ordinator) to realise this wonderful project.
